Customers are currently having problems collecting email and logging into Webmail.

If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

Problem has been passed to a network engineer for investigation.

Problem is two-fold.

Firstly errors were reported on the storage console. Case has been raised with our vendor regarding this who have advised that the problem is not critical.

Second problem stems from the volume of connections to the storage platform. Whilst this has subsided and mail collection should now be possible, further investigation is required.

We have identified that the default settings for our Positni antispam filtering have been not to filter customers' messages. Whilst this only affects new customers it has contributed to the increased load on the mail servers. We have raised a change control to have this rectified.
