SMTP connections to the above are intermittently timing out, which means the incoming mail platform may not be accepting all incoming email that is being attempted to be delivered to us. If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

Our investigations show that the majority of mail is continuing to be delivered to both our mxcore and mxlast platforms. We have identified a single mx.last incoming mail server that is currently unavailable. We are despatching a networks engineer to one of our remote datacentres to investigate this.

Our monitoring is showing a decrease in the amount of attempted connections to our incoming mail servers. However, we are continuing to monitor the platform closely and Service Status will be updated tomorrow morning.

The failed server was having issues accessing the correct part of the shared storage, this has now been resolved and all mail servers are delivering normally. Go to current priority problems | Go to archived priority problems |
