Some customers do not appear to be receiving the notification of upcoming Direct Debit payments. However the Service Notice is still being added to the account correctly. If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

We are currently sending test emails from the various servers responsible for despatching the billing emails.

A problem has been identified with DNS resolution on some of the servers used to send billing emails.

Additional DNS entries need to be added. Raising a change control to add these now.

The DNS changes have been made and propogated to the billing servers. Some changes are now required to the exim config on the serves; change control is being raised now.

The exim config changes have been made and we are currently sending test emails from each of the servers.

Our tests have proved successful and all emails from the billing servers are now being received immediately. I am now downgrading this problem while our QA team confirm they are happy with the fix. Go to current priority problems | Go to archived priority problems |
