Customers are unable to send emails using our Webmail service. This is returning SMTP server errors, taking a very long time or timing out. If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

The problem has been replicated and is being passed to an engineer for investigation.

Exim was disabled on one of the cgirelay servers used by webmail. This has since been enabled and customers are now able to send without problems.

Problem is being downgraded for signoff.

This problem is being reopened as it appears that further problems with cgirelay02 are causing problems sending email using Webmail again. Go to current priority problems | Go to archived priority problems |
