It appears that the caching DNS server 212.159.13.49 is non-responsive:-

This has the potential to cause Internet connectivity problems for customers preventing them from accessing web pages and using other Internet applications.

If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

The problem has been passed to our network engineers for investigation.

Our network engineers have identified a configuration problem affecting routing to ptn-cachedns01. We are currently in the process of conducting the necessary configuration changes and hope to have the problem resolved within the hour.

Our network engineers have made some routing configuring changes and customers should now be able to access the Internet as normal. The problem was the result of misconfiguration following this mornings maintenance work to provide a long term fix to the ongoing caching DNS issues.

The problem is now being downgraded for signoff.
