We are currently aware of a problem affecting caching DNS.

Customers may experience intermittent difficulties accessing web pages, sending and receiving email and using other Internet applications.

If you were logged in to the portal, you could associate your username with this problem.

Our network engineers are currently investigating. The problem appears to be specific to the server address 212.159.6.9.

We have restarted the DNS software running on one of our four caching DNS servers and the problem is now resolved.

We will be implementing a longer term fix for this reoccurring issue tomorrow morning:-

Problem is now being downgraded for signoff and Service Status will be updated shortly.
